What, what and what?

Hello! I've been thinking for quite a while about starting this blog, and well, now here it is. You might find yourself asking, "Who are you, and what exactly IS this blog?" Valid questions. I am Erica. For those of you who don't know, I am a geek queen, an animal admirer, happy hooker (as in crochet hooks, you silly individuals), a mom to some pretty epic clones, and a Scleroderma warrior. That's as rounded an answer I can give to the question of "who". As far as what this is, the best answer is a blog. Duh. What kind of blog? That's a bigger question. For the most part, my previous blog was more of a personal narrative. This one will also include some personal narrative, of course, but I also wanted to expand upon that. I felt like it was easier to start a new place than to change directions on the old blog. What new directions?
